PJ began dancing at the age of 10, competing in clogging around the south east. Soon after, PJ started line dancing, and partner dancing. He and his wife danced on the show “Club Dance” for 3 years which was filmed in Knoxville. He currently competes in West Coast Swing in the All-Star Division in the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC), and travels the United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) competing, teaching, and performing exhibitions.
Lisa began dancing at the age of 15, dancing line dancing and couples dancing. She and her husband PJ danced on the TV show “Club Dance” for 3 years which was filmed in Knoxville. She currently travels to many WSDC and UCWDC dance events throughout the country teaching workshops, and performing exhibitions.
April first fell in love with dance as a young girl when her grandmother would take her along with her to clogging events. She discovered ballroom dancing at 17 and has been with her friends at Academy Ballroom since 2008. She continues to train with Emily and Jeremy in hopes of progressing even further in the profession one day.

Al Henriquez began his professional dancing in 1989 with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios. He celebrated many awards as a top professional in dancing and teaching, but regards his family as his greatest success. Al shares his life with wife and friend Rachel and 5 wonderful children.

Rachel Henriquez has been a professional ballroom dancer and instructor since 2004. After a lifelong passion for music and teaching, God added the magic of movement into the mix through ballroom dancing. In addition to bringing personal and professional joy, ballroom also blessed her with a partner for dancing as well as life in husband Al Henriquez. The two have a handful of beautiful children that love dancing almost as much as they do. Rachel’s specialty is personalizing your dancing wishes to fit your life and your needs. Whether teaching singles, groups, or couples…from ages 4 to 94, this girl loves it all!
Stephanie Braeuner has been dancing for nearly 10 years. First attempting styles like ballet and jazz, she began ballroom dancing shortly after graduating high school. Ever since then, she’s been in love. She has competed in numerous competitions in the southeast region as well as performing in local shows. Some of her favorite events are fundraisers because it’s a chance to give back in her own way. When asked what her favorite dance is, the reply will always be, “It depends what song is on”
